The Council of Ain ​​Shams University held its session on Wednesday, 02/07/2014, headed by prof. Dr. Hussein Essa, President of the University, where he said that the Council agreed to dissemination of the experience of the center of vision at the Faculty of Arts to serve blind students in faculties of law, Arts and Al-Alsun in order to set up an effective mechanism standardized to improve the level of education service for blind students at the university faculties.

Dr. Hussein Essa added that the council agreed to grant Dr. Hanan Awad Said, teacher in Department of Physics, Faculty of girls. D. Hussein Abu Leila Award in 2013, as well as granting Dr. Afaf Abdel-Latif Nada Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Faculty of girls. D. Latifa Al Houti Award for 2013.

The Council also approved the grant and upgrade scientific title of (17) Professor (24) Assistant Professor, (30) teacher in various faculties of the university
