University Council, headed by prof. Dr. Hussein Essa President of the University declared Professors winners of Ain Shams University discretionary award 2014 in different areas:
First, in the social sciences:
Prof .dr. Abdul Aziz El-sayed Abdul Wahid - Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Education ,Special Education Department, prof. dr. Zain El-Abidinen Badawi Nassar - Professor Emeritus, Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Law.
Second, in the field of literature and the arts:
Prof. d. Mohammed Elsayed Suleiman El-abd - Professor Emeritus, Department of Arabic Language Faculty of Al-Alsun , prof. d. elsafsafy Ahmed El-morsy - Professor Emeritus, Department of Oriental Languages and Literature Faculty of Arts.
Third: In the field of basic science:
Prof. D. Abdul Sattar Mohamed Morsy Salam - Professor Emeritus, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, was also awarded the prize equally between both Prof. D. Nabeel Tawfiq Mohammed El-dabe - Professor Emeritus, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Education, and Professor Mahmoud Mohammed El-nahas, Emeritus Professor, Department of Physics, Faculty of Education.
Fourth, in the field of engineering sciences:
The prize was awarded equally between both: Prof. Hamid Ibrahim El-Mausli - emeritus professor of design and production engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, prof. dr. mohamed Abdul Qadir Alojhori - Professor Emeritus, Department of Structural Engineering in Faculty of Engineering.
Fifth: In the field of medical science:
The prize was awarded equally between both Prof. Hamed Ahmed Mohammed Al-Khayat - Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, and the second half of the prize for both: prof. dr. Ali Alian Ali Khalf Allah - Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Mazeed, orthopedic surgery professor, Department of the Faculty of Medicine also Prof. Zainab Abdel Hamid Lotfy - Professor Emeritus Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health Department Faculty of Nursing was awarded University discretionary prize in the field of medical science.
Sixth: In the field of agricultural sciences:
Prof. Mamdouh Mohamed Fawzi Abdullah – Professor at Department of Horticulture Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture.
Seventh: in the field of technological sciences:
Prof. Mona Mohammed Mohsen Abdul Latif - Professor Emeritus, Department of Physics, Faculty of
Science.
